Two leading members of the Newport Cathedral Campaign have been honoured for their work. Neil Lewis is to receive an MBE from the Queen and Ms Jennifer Sollis is to be made a Member of the Order of St Woolos by the Bishop.
Events for 2010
Newport Cathedral supporters are using their “talents” to raise money for the rescue appeal. People were challenged to take £10 and, taking the example of the Biblical parable of the talents, use it to raise as much money as possible.
On October 12th Newport Cathedral’s Royal Patron HRH The Duke of Gloucester visited the Cathedral for the third time in three years.
