About the Campaign

The roof of Newport Cathedral

Newport St Woolos Cathedral requires urgent repairs to its historical building

Newport Cathedral Emergency Campaign is focused on raising at least £1.5m for urgent restoration and repair work. The roof of Newport Cathedral is reaching a critical stage and work must begin as soon as possible. There are also other repairs needed to ensure the Cathedral can be enjoyed now and for future generations of worshippers and visitors.

The cathedral has set up a Fundraising Team that is dedicated to reach the target of £1.5m needed.
