Newport Cathedral Emergency Campaign

HRH The Duke of Gloucester KG GCVO has graciously agreed to be Royal Patron of the St Woolos Cathedral Rescue Appeal.

An architect by training His Royal Highness has strong links with the County of Gwent. He is Royal Honorary Colonel of the Royal Monmouthshire Royal Engineers (Militia).

As Grand prior of the Order of St John, he attended a service for the Order at ST Woolos Cathedral in 1999.

The Dean, The Very Rev?d Dr Richard Fenwick said, “We are greatly honoured to have the Duke as Royal Patron.”
