St Woolos Cathedral with resound to the sound of celebrity readers and champaign corks being popped again this November.
The occasion is a major fundraising event for the Cathedral’s £2.5 Million Restoration Appeal. The event entitled Knightsbridge comes to St Woolos is to be held on November 29th. Last year the event raised £10,000 for the Cathedral Appeal. Based on an idea from St Paul’s Knightsbridge the evening starts with a concert of music provided by the Cathedral and Rougmont Choirs interspersed with seasonal readings read by celebrities. This is followed by a Champagne Reception.
To book your tickets (£25 per head) for the evening please contact the Appeal Administrator, Catherine Hayman on (01633) 212077.
Fifteen months after it was launched the Appeal Total has just topped the £300,000.
