The St Woolos Cathedral Rescue Appeal have announced the appointment of David Phillips as their Appeal Project Officer.

David Phillips has previously worked for the Cathedral Appeal and on major projects at two other Welsh Cathedrals, firstly at Brecon in 1994 and later at St David’s. The post is partly funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund as part of the previously announced Project Planning Grant.

Welcoming the appointment, John Sexton, Appeal Coordinator, said: “We are very fortunate to have such an experienced person join the team”.

David Phillips said how he was “thrilled to be working with St. Woolos again and with those who so clearly love the Cathedral.”
