…and £10,000 Gift from the Freemasons’ Charity

Tonight (October 17th 2007) the Cathedral gave thanks for the many generous benefactors who have supported the Cathedral appeal today. During the service the Dean and the Lord Lieutenant, representing our Royal Patron thanked a representative group of donors.

Also during the service the Dean received a cheque for £10,000 from the Freemasons’ Charity. Miss Jennifer Sollis, Appeal Secretary, welcoming the Freemason’s gift said”They are known for their charitable works, we are grateful that their generosity has again extended to us”.
