Guild of Church Needlework gives £1,000

The Monmouth Diocesan Guild of Church Needlework have presented a gift of £1,000 for the Cathedral Rescue Appeal.

The Guild regular makes gifts back to various diocesan institutions and churches; and last year they gifted vestments to churches in Africa.

Welcoming the gift Minor Canon Fr Mark Soady said, “It is very encouraging to get support from diocesan organisations like the needlework guild for the repair of the mother church of the diocese”.

The Appeal Fund total now stands at £210,000
