Money flows in for the Appeal

With news that the Jane Hodge Foundation have awarded £5,000 to the Cathedral Restoration Appeal only weeks after a similar grant from the All Churches Trust the worked invested in by the Appeal’s Grant Committee is beginning to bear fruit.

In addition and despite the current economic climate individual grants have also continued to flow. On top of this can be added the success of a number of fundraising ventures. The High Sheriff’s Michaelmas Lunch at the House of lords (sponsored by Lord Kinnock) raised over £5,000 and already over 20 coaches are booked in for the first day of the Festival of Flowers in a months time.

The Appeal Total now stands at £434,000.
